LED Modules

With the growing public awareness of the importance of energy conservation, the demand for LED lighting has grown exponentially.

Defond, as part of its green technology strategy, has created LED design and testing centres in both Hong Kong and China. This includes a state-of-the-art photometric laboratory in our Hong Mei facility capable of fully characterising both individual LEDs and LED light assemblies. The list of equipments includes a 40m long and 7m high test chamber for our mirror-rotation goniophotometer, two 0.3m & 2m thermostatic integrating spheres with and a fast PMT scanning spectroradiometer connected, which correspond to individual LEDs and LED light assemblies respectively. Integrating spheres and spectroradiometer are two important parts of the photometric spectroradio-spectroscopy system.
